Abortion

I was reading an artical from msnbc.com(June 2010) and thought this was kind of interesting and disturbing at the same time. Listen to this:

In London, British health experts say the human fetus cannot feel pain before the age of 24 weeks, so there is no reason to change the country's abortion laws. The Government-Commissioned study is a setback for anitabortion activits, who want the country's current 24-week time limit for terminations reduced. The study says that nerve connections in the brain are not sufficiently formed to allow pain perception before 24-weeks. The study by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, published Friday, was recommended by lawmakers who are considering lowering the abortion limit. The doctors say there is increasing evidence that even after 24 weeks the fetus is in a state of "continous sleep-like unconsciousness or sedation."

This caught my eye because I do not believe in abortion unless the circumstance is very sufficient. There are many people in the world who would love to have a baby that cannot infact have one so they have to adopt. If every female in the world that didnt want their baby were able to get abortions just because someone said the baby isnt able to fee any pain, there wouldnt be a thriving population like there is today. A baby that is breathing, moving and kicking inside of your belly is a human of flesh and blood. Only under certain cercumstances do I believe an abortion should take place. That is: If you are raped by incest, and well thats all I can think of. Its not the babies fault that it is born into this world to someone that doesnt want him/her, so give it up for adoption. Having an abortion is killing a human, its not right and this law is stupid because at 24 weeks(6months) your baby is fully developed, moving and kicking, and breathing. I do not see how someone could do that!

I am so glad this week is over!!! Well my daughter and her dad are in Chicago visiting his family, I know call me crazy, but I cant tell them no she cant go that would be rude. So it has been my son and me this week, its been nice though. He gets very jelous still and its been seven months, so when we get alone time he loves it. I do miss her so much!!! I talked to her on the phone tonight and her dad said she just kept smiling and laughing and she was trying to talk back. My son had a birthday party to go to in our family so I dropped him off this evening with them and went and played bingo, it was a blast, even though I didnt win anything. This couple tonight probably in their sixties, won fifteen thousand dollars. Is that not crazy? I would be falling over dead, lol!!! I am definately ready for bed, so is Brenden. Tomorrow we are going to sleep in and do nothing, I want to take him to see Toy Story 3. He will be excited, its a surprise. Then come sunday do a little more of nothing then probably go to church sunday night. Then start the week over Monday. I need another vacation, but until then this weekend will have to be my vacation!!! I'll be in Chicago next weekend for the 4th and to pick up my daughter, I am so excited. I love it up there!!!
